Reay Travel makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of information provided.
Reay Travel’s sole objective is to assist customers in verifying availability of travel products and services and in making bookings and purchases in due form.
After you have completed your booking, you will receive an invoice and travel documents from Reay Travel.
-
You, the user, attest that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into this agreement. You also confirm that all information supplied by you, members of your family and/or fellow travellers is true and accurate.
By booking on behalf of other participants, you are deemed to be the designated contact person for every participant included on that booking. This means that you are responsible for making all payments due in connection with your travel booking, notifying your travel agent if any changes or cancellations are required and keeping your party informed.
By booking on behalf of another person or persons, you represent and warrant that you have obtained all required consents. You are responsible for verifying that any information you provide on behalf of another participant is complete and accurate and the tour operator will under no circumstances be liable for any errors or omissions in the information provided to complete a booking.
Travellers will provide their full name EXACTLY as it appears on your passport. Failure to provide exact names or birth dates will result in a per person change fee (see schedule below) in addition to any change fees assessed by the tour operator or airline.
It is the traveller’s responsibility to verify their fitness to travel, in regards to pregnancy, health, criminal past, citizenship, passport, and visas. Any information given is advice only and the traveller has completed their due diligence to assure proper documentation is obtained prior to travel. Any penalties incurred due to lack of fitness to travel or documentation is the full responsibility of the traveller.
-
It is your responsibility to enquire on, and obtain, all required travel documents. Reay Travel is not liable for any and all consequences of inappropriate or missing travel documents.
A valid Canadian passport is mandatory for all travel outside Canada. Some countries require that your passport be valid for six months beyond the date of your return to Canada. Canadian citizens born in certain countries may require a visa in addition to a valid passport. A permanent resident card will be required for permanent residents/landed immigrants who are not Canadian citizens. One (1) parent traveling with a child under age 18 may have to obtain a notarized letter of consent signed by the parent not traveling. Customers are responsible for checking which documents are required, and then making certain that they have the necessary documents in hand prior to departure. Customers failing to provide the required documents may be denied boarding privileges by the carrier or relevant authorities, without further recourse or the possibility of a refund. Entry into another country may also be refused to a customer even if he or she has the required travel documents. For more information on required travel documents, you may wish to visit www.voyage.gc.ca.
Check local laws and regulations for all countries on your itineraries to ensure you are authorized to travel. Many foreign governments will deny entry for past federal, provincial, or local criminal or offensive actions – including but not limited to: drug convictions, owed child support, DUI, domestic violence, predatory behavior, or any felony arrest history. Reay Travel is not responsible for clients who are denied entry to countries if you are unable to enter. Reay Travel is not responsible or liable for any costs associated with being unable to enter a country and return home.

Respecting our customers’ privacy is of utmost concern to Reay Travel. Reay Travel never sells the names of individual customers or any other information drawn from their personal profiles to third parties. All direct communication between you and Reay Travel (whether by email, facsimile, telephone or postal mail) remains confidential. For the purposes of reserving your trip and processing the transaction related thereto, however, we do require certain basic personal information.
When you reserve or purchase travel services through Reay Travel, we may be required to transmit such information (including your name and address) about you and your purchase to booking/payment processing partner(s), the tour operator, the air carrier or any other travel product or service provider involved; this step is essential to the processing of the transaction. While Reay Travel makes every effort to ensure respect of your privacy, you understand that for the purpose of verifying the above-mentioned information, Reay Travel may choose to disclose it to a third party assigned the task of verifying and/or corroborating the information provided as part of your file.
-
All prices, unless specified otherwise, are in Canadian dollars and include all applicable taxes and fees. Prices may be increased at any time and for any reason. As we are a TICO-registered travel agency in the province of Ontario, in accordance with applicable regulation, where there is an increase of more than seven per cent (7%) in the price of services after a deposit has been paid for said services, and such price increase does not result from an increase in government taxes or a fuel surcharge allowed by the Canadian Transportation Agency, the customer has the right to cancel and receive a full refund.
Unless previously stated, prices do not include local arrival or departure taxes, which must be paid locally upon arrival or departure. Countries with arrival and/or departure taxes include and are not limited to:
Cancun, Mexico – approximately $11 USD arrival tax
Costa Rica – $29 USD departure tax
Dominican Republic – $20 USD departure tax
Payment Methods
Residents of Canada and the United States of America may pay on-line or by telephone using Visa, American Express or MasterCard credit cards.
The travel products and services you reserve must be fully paid or deposited at the time of booking. Your credit card account will be debited and you will be informed of that transaction by means of the invoice sent to you at the time of booking. You agree to comply with booking terms and conditions whether or not you have manually signed an invoice or receipt. Verbal authorization for the use of a credit card confirms the reservation.
In the event of any dispute arising from or chargeback from the purchaser’s credit card, the credit card holder shall be fully and solely responsible for the settlement of payment. Reay Travel shall not be held liable in any manner.
-
This transaction is final, non-refundable and non-transferable. Neither the purchaser nor the passenger may modify any details of the transaction. Booking of travel services constitutes a contract between the customer and Reay Travel and tour operator/provider of travel services.
No reimbursements or refunds will be issued for unused travel services or any component of the package after departure. Refunds are not granted for bookings canceled due to inclement weather or illness; these must be claimed through your travel insurance. No guarantee is provided or warranted that any refund will be available. No refund will be granted if a sale price is advertised after a reservation is confirmed.
-
Subject to your compliance with the cancellation and modification policies of each tour operator or product/service supplier, Reay Travel may charge a reasonable fee for any booking cancellation or modification. Please see Reay Travel’s Fee Structure below for our cancellation and modification fee schedule.
-
After you have reserved your trip, Reay Travel will email you an invoice confirming your purchase and details of your itinerary.
Reception of this invoice constitutes your final opportunity to verify the accuracy of the information that will be entered on your travel documents. Please contact Reay Travel immediately upon receipt of your invoice if you note any discrepancies, failing which Reay Travel shall not be liable for any errors and/or omissions related to your booking.

Reay Travel strongly recommends the purchase of travel insurance, including cancellation insurance and out-of-province health insurance. Reay Travel offers Manulife Medical and Travel Insurance for purchase by residents of Canada.
You acknowledge that Reay Travel makes this insurance available in good faith and that you are fully responsible for your decisions in regard to travel insurance (e.g., taking out comprehensive coverage, or purchasing no insurance at all).
For any purchase made by a resident of the United States of America, purchase of insurance must be made through a local insurance provider.
-
You acknowledge that Reay Travel acts as a middle-person between you and carriers, hotels, tour operators and other service/product providers selected by you. Consequently, Reay Travel cannot be held liable towards you or your fellow travellers for the services rendered, and/or the products offered, by such third party providers. Reay Travel shall not be liable and assumes no risk for the obligations, or any default or negligence, of third-party providers and for any damages including, among other things, damages due to delay, cancellation, loss of goods, sickness, injury, accident, quality of services, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, disappointment, acts of God or force majeure.
Outside of Canada, living standards and local practices, as well as conditions with respect to the provision of services and accommodation, may differ from those to which you are accustomed in Canada.
Flight times, even as they appear on airline tickets, are subject to change due to various circumstances over which the air carrier or Reay Travel has no control. Any customer who has purchased a package or a flight with Reay Travel is entirely responsible for verifying the time of his flights with the air carrier within the 24-hour period preceding the outbound and return flights. Failure to check-in and board on time may result in the cancellation of a customer’s flight reservation with no right of recourse or refund.
-
Covid-19 may impact your travel. Current travel recommendations are available from the Canadian Government at https://travel.gc.ca/travelling/health-safety/covid-19-security. Covid-19 is an active, and worldwide, with associated health risks and restrictions that could, without warning, affect and cause significant disruptions, cancellations and changes to any and all travel arrangements, by way of Covid-19 outbreaks, sudden border closures, quarantine and lockdown orders, airport closures, government travel advisories, return-home directives, hospitalization for treatment and other similar consequences; and consequences not reasonably foreseeable at this time (collectively referred to as the “Covid 19 Risks”);
Entry and exit rules for cruise lines and countries may change at any time. Travel may be canceled due to the pandemic. Cruise lines have been offering future travel vouchers instead of refunds on canceled travel. Travel insurance is highly recommended. Neither Reay Travel nor Nexion Canada LLC is not responsible for decisions made by the cruise lines or governments and are acting as an agent on your behalf.
To ensure the safety of all guests and employees, resorts, cruise lines, hotels and other travel partners may have mandatory safety protocols in place, and the availability of their services and facilities may be impacted. Reay Travel shall not be liable for any disruption of services as a result of Covid-19 safety policies.
